Miami Port & Parking

Recommended Posts

Just booked the Sun's New Year Day Sailing...have never embarked from Miami before....does anyone have any parking tips...we will be driving up from home in Key West that morning with what I am sure will be at least a touch of a hangover so i don't want to spend all day finding a resonable -oh who am I fooling - a cheap place to park!

Thanks for any advice,

Clay

I guess the price of parking has gone up since I was there last year. It

was $10 per night and it looks like it is now $12 per night. However, I

have always parked there and I have a disabled parking permit. With the

permit prominently displayed hanging from my rear view mirror, there has

been NO CHARGE for the parking in the garage. I don't know if that is still

in effect either. As a matter of fact, I have parked in many municipal parking

garages in the city of Miami and also at meters, and they also have been no

charge with the disabled parking permit. At any rate, the parking garages

at the port are the only way to go regardless of the cost.;)
