Carnival Seamiles Program

Has anyone purchased a cruise using the Carnival Seamiles Program? Does anyone know if they are going to expand the program to include ship upgrades, onboard credit and gifts like NCL and Royal Caribbean does with their credit cards? As of right now, as far as cruising is concerned, you can only use it to book a cruise. I would use it for onboard credit if they allowed it. :(

Do a search ...there are a ton of threads here that will answer all of your questions....from what i have read the program is not that good at all.....
