uv protective tent

If you search this forum, you'll see some tents/cabanas that have been recommended. I was looking in to them myself (for twins), but ended up not getting one.

Go to Amazon and search on "play tent" "cabana".

Determine if you want one that "pops up" or one that you put together. I don't know how old your kids are and how many people will be with you. For us, it was two adults with two 10.5 month olds...I wanted something that would pop up...so that will cost more money.

You will probably want something that has some vents to allow air to flow through. Some also have built in sand bags to help weight it down. You can also check ebay and sports/outdoors places.

I also tried to find the tents on the vendors site to see if it had more info with how big/small the tent would be when it was folded down. The ABO tent site showed the tent looking like an outdoor chair folded up (hard to explain)...and to me, I think it would be easy to carry.

Here are a couple for example:

http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Road-Trip-Beach-Shelter/dp/B0009PUTIE/ref=pd_sbs_sg_2

Just my $.02 from researching.

I got the ABO Gear Aerodome. I forget where I got it. Probably on Ebay. It was SPF 50. I like it, but don't love it. It's pretty easy to put up and down. I kind of wish I got the pop-up kind, but heard that they sometimes break. The only complaint I had was that it seemed hot in the tent, unless it faced the breeze. I'd rather have one that had more ventilation. My friend has the one from One Step Ahead and loves it.

WE have the one from ONe Step Ahead and LOVE, love, love it! It pops up, has plenty of ventillation and is roomy enough inside for all of you!

It is the family cabana and you can go to onestepahead.com to purchase it. Check on google or another search engine for coupons from one step ahead, they are out there and can save you $$. Have a GrEAt TRiP!!!
