vacationplanner1 Posted February 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We are being offered a cabin (6050) on the Insignia which can accommodate three people but we are just two of us. Can anyone tell us if this is a more crowded cabin than the regular cabins, so that we should switch to another? Or can the additional bed be taken away? thanks for any information
tak2 Posted February 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2009 This is a standard size cabin of 170 sq. ft, plus balcony. The bed for the third passenger is the sofa bed, which in your case is the unobtrusive sofa. I was in 6051. P.S. the "sad face" was accidentally triggerred. I tried to edit it out, but didn't know how. Sorry for giving you the wrong idea!
Andee Posted February 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2009 We've been in that cabin, and I competely agree with tak2--the third person would sleep in the sofa bed.
tak2 Posted February 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Of all the B cabins, 6050 would be my number 3 choice, just behind 6048 and 6051.
