looking at doing this cruise, has anyone done it?

is it a nice ship?

balcony or ocean view worth extra money?

will lots of kids be on board this time of year, were looking at april 12?

April 12th is easter sunday, so yes there will be plenty of kids. There does seem to be good specials on easter, so Iv cruised on easter several times. Im doing RCL Voyager getting back that day, is why I knew it was easter. We go to Roatan too, thats why I picked that week. Roatan is a great port if you get out and about.

 

I like to see out, but wouldnt pay a huge amount extra for it. Of course on Carnival we try and book a port hole 1A cabin, which is cheaper than a 4A inside cabin, and a little larger, but the beds wouldnt push together. .... but we can see out the port holes for cheap. 2217 is my favorite carnival port hole cabin.

We cruised the Valor in June, Eastern Caribbean. The ship and crew were great, and there's so much to do in every port. It's really nice to have an OV, but not a neccessity. Just depends on your $$ situation and what you like.

We've done the same route before, and are doing it again next cruise. these are good ports to see. On roatan, go to Tabyana beach----- absolutely gorgeous and teriffic snorkeling right from the beach!!!

great cruise have only done the western and doing again in march love ship and ports :eek:
