WE took Tri-County $17 /person for a share ride. After you get your luggage then go outside a desk is set up right there. $60 for Town Car service.

Coming home we took the Cruiseline Bus $15p/p you just have to wait for them to fill up the bus took about 15-20 minutes then they drop you foo right at the airlines. Not to bad.

Good luck have a great time

We have taken a cab from FLL to Port of Miami for $60. Not too crazy about the NCL bus because you have to wait until the bus fills which can be 20 minutes or two hours. And you're getting to the port along with 80 other passengers--instant long line! There's three of us this time and for the extra $15.00, I'll be happy to get there by ourselves--before the bus.

Thanks for the above suggestions. We decided to go with the car rental. We are renting through Alamo from FLL on a Friday to be dropped off at the Port of Miami on Saturday for $32. The following Saturday we will pick up a car at the Port and drop off in the evening at FLL for $29. We used the Entertainment coupon for an upgrade to intermediate size. Seems like a great deal and with Alamo having a location at the Port, makes the deal better.

Thanks HoosierContour, you are right. I was misled on the Alamo website to believe that their were two different locations. A call to the published phone number was to the Miami airport location. An agent there stated that there is only one location. A shuttle if provided from that location to the port and vice-versa.

We flew into Miami.. no problems at all shuttle from airport to ship was great.

Coming home.. hubby never looked at the plane tix (booked online and had cruise line set up air travel for us)...

well we got on the bus and waited to go to the Miami airport, got dropped of about 1/4 mile from the air line we were using and rushed all thru the airport. Got to the kiosk, god forbid a human would be working.. only to find our tix wouldnt work in the kiosk. Finally an airline worker checked our tix only to tell us we were at the WRONG AIRPORT.....

$80 dollars later (cab fees) we were at the correct airport with time to spare...

Moral of the story...... you know what happens when you assume....

This is one of our "we'll laugh at this another time" cruise stories..
