luv2bcruzn Posted November 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2004 can anyone tell me about the cc rooms- particularly in the forward section? I was also wondering about noise and motion problems.

robbie500 Posted November 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2004 We stayed in cabin 1100, cc class. We were worried being so close to the elevator, but didn't notice it or any real noise from passers in the hall. We didn't have any noise from above, or below. We did notice persons talking in cabins on the sides on a few occaisions. The only irritating noise I heard was like a clanking noise every once in a while. It sounded like something on the outside of the ship, but I could never find out what exactly it was. Our cabin was located near the rear of the ship, and the seas were rather rough. We had some motion, but not as bad as some reported in the front. For the most part seas are not bad this time of year. You should be OK for motion stuff. Take along a patch or medication "just in case". Have fun! We did! Rob
SusieM Posted November 29, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 29, 2004 We just got off the Century on Saturday and loved our cabin. My daughter and her friend were next door in 1015, and once in a while I could hear them laugh, but we had honeymooners on the other side and didn't hear a peep out of them : ) Had absolutely no motion sickness the entire cruise and only saw a few people who were. shofer Posted November 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2004 We were on Century w/a cabin amidships right by the elevator and only heard people once in a while. Very little motion in the center of the ship. No noise from neighbors @ all. Occasionally heard the toilet flushing. Sound-proofing is pretty good.
