Caribbean versus Ruby

We are debating between the 10 day Ruby cruise and the 7 day Caribbean cruise in December. Which one would you do and why?

 

Also, any differences between the ships?

10 days beats 7 anytime...and even with the dry-dock improvements of the Caribbean, the Ruby is very new.

I was having the same debate with myself and ended up booking the Ruby. It's 3 extra days and sails out of Florida, as opposed to the 7 day one that I was looking at which sailed from San Juan. Airfare for me is cheaper to Florida, so I can get more time on the ship for essentially the same price. Both ships seem to have, for the most part, the same amenities.
