hi-saw your response in another post about lounging at an sju hotel. do you recall where you did feel welcome? we'll only have "day" luggage-and hope to hang around the pool until lunchtime before heading to the hotel. we stayed at the caribe hilton but i just can't recall how"easy" it would be to blend in. i'll be happy to buy drinks and lunch. thanks...

We went to one hotel (name I can't remember), with luggage, and were told they wouldn't store the luggage for us. We just went to the airport.

 

We went to the El San Juan last time with carry-on only. They wouldn't store them. We were welcome at the restaurant at sat at the area that was open air to the pool. They indicated that the pool chairs and beach area were for guests of the hotel only. But we had comfortable seats and enjoyed the brunch buffet and relaxing there for a couple hours.

The Caribe Hilton has a very open and accessible pool area, so I suspect you could hang out there without any issue from anyone.
