Kafitz246 Posted February 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Hi, We are booked on the Carnival Valor in September. I booked a category 5A cabin that has two portholes. Does anyone have a picture of one of these staterooms or know how they are? Thanks!! Kim
firefly333 Posted February 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2009 The windows are more like telescopes, where you look thru a tube, where you are looking thru the hull of the ship. Not as good as a flat pane of glass, but you can see outside and what the weather is. My only picture has my sister in between the port holes, so Id rather not post it. ArmyWife82490 Posted February 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2009 I also booked a 5A stateroom w/ 2 portholes for my cruise. Although, I believe our room is 1220. (It should be the same though) If you just google 5A stateroom on Carnival Valor, you should find some pictures. I found this one just to give you a heads up as to what the portholes look like. https://www.hawaiicruiseoutlet.com/cruisestaterooms_popup.asp?ShipID=212&CategoryCode=5A Hope that helps!
