cruisin'234 Posted February 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Does Accra/Rockley beach have a place where you can get glass bottom boats? Can you go snorkeling with the sea turtles there or is paynes bay better for that? Is Paynes Bay not a good place to go? I want to swim with the turtles but don't want to take an extensive all day tour. I have heard some not so good things about Paynes bay so I want to make sure I don't end up in a shady place. Thanks for the help!

Accra/Rockley Beach is on a completely different coast with different sea conditions. You will never see glass-bottom boats at Accra -they hang out along the West Coast which is usually millpond calm(but no guarantees). I get the impression Paynes Bay has recently become a bit more civilized ever since the infamous Blue Monkey Bar closed it doors. Paynes Bay and/or Holetown are the places to catch glass-bottomed boats to do the Turtle thing. ______________________ And if you're interested there's a Swimming with the Turtles special interest group on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=132093095789
