Where to purchase soda/water at pier in Valparaiso

:confused:Does anyone know if there is a store at pier in Valparaiso that sells soda and bottled water by the case?

Are you aware that the water purification systems on board all modern ships produce water from your cabin bathroom sink tap that is far purer (less salt and chemicals) than the vast majority of bottled waters. It really is not necessary to bring bottled water on board, but an empty bottle or two might come in handy.

Hi, There is a large shopping centre located outside the port.It is a large port a you will have to take a bus to your ship. In the terminal building where you check in, if you go outside towards the town you will see a large modern shopping centre several floors high. The supermarket is loctaed on the side near to the port. It is easy to find. The also have pisco sour mixed and the pisco plain.

Thanks so much for the information. NCL is transferring us from Santiago to the pier so I am assuming that we will not also need to hop a bus to get to the ship:confused: We may pick up our soda in Santiago, but if not, will likely check in and then leave the ship to hit the grocery store in the shopping mall.

You will have to take a bus from the terminal where everyone drops off the luggage and then checks in. It is only a 5min ride, but I would definitely do your shopping before you take the bus to the ship.

So, just to confirm. We drop our luggage, then do our shopping, then take the 5 minute shuttle to the ship?

You've got it, but don't worry. It really is much smoother than it sounds.

Thanks so much. We are considering purchasing our tonic water in Santiago to save the hassle at the pier.
