Sunspots Posted February 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2009 Firstly, thanks in advance for the help, now my questions! When we receive an onboard credit, are there restrictions on how it can be used? I'd like to use it for shore excursions, and perhaps to rent a cabana for the day, or pay the $20 corkage fee. Is airfare credit an option to free airfare? Any idea how much it would be for a flight from California to Miami? Also, when you don't fly out of a major airport, is there an added charge? I can't wait to experience Oceania! Jaques Pepin is my husband's favorite chef, and the fact that he's Oceania's Executive Chef made it easy to convince my hubby to sail Oceania this time. lcand1923 Posted February 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2009 Can't answer questions about airfare, but have used OBC for Ship-sponsored shore excursions, wine purchases and beer purchases on board.

nparmelee Posted February 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2009 Yes, you can take an air credit instead of using the free air, ask your TA to price the cruise both ways for you with all taxes. Shore excursions that you reserve before the cruise will be charged to a credit card when you reserve them. Once on board the OBC would apply to your total onboard expenses, wherever they may come from.
