Not sure what you are asking??? Are you looking for shore excursion information?? First reference is best to look at your ship shore excursion list, then narrow down your interests and repost your top choices. There are hundreds of excellent tours to consider. Kagehitokiri Posted February 23, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted February 23, 2009 which ports are easily accessible by other transportation? that is my only interest in the ports. (also which ports have good cruising between them.) if i do a couple-night itin (broken out of the full itin) what ports could/should be start/end, in terms of what is doable/best? Ketchikan, Alaska 7/24-7/25 Wrangell, Alaska 7/26 Sitka, Alaska 7/27-7/28 Haines, Alaska 7/30 Juneau, Alaska 7/31-8/1 Valdez, Alaska 8/3 Anchorage, Alaska 8/5-8/7 Kodiak, Alaska 8/
bottom-dragger Posted February 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2009 what is your interest in wrangell? boating to anan? though, currently most of the fast boats out of wrangell come to petersburg to take cruise ship passengers to leconte glacier) the city has kind of seen some tough economic times and it shows. the first five ports you've listed are accessible by alaska airlines and alaska marine highway (ferry, but not on a daily basis). You are greatly underestimating time, and need more in EACH port. The ferry schedules are around the clock, best is two nights in each location.
