The original question by the OP was whether HAL will recognize sailing on Home Lines. We have really deviated from that question. I guess no one has an answer.

I for one, took one cruise on the MV Atlantic. I remember it as really elegant. Yes, everyone dressed for dinner every night. It was a wonderful cruise. The food was excellent, the staff was great and we really enjoyed our week on the Atlantic. If Home Lines were still in business, I would be one of their passengers.

Maybe someone needs to call HAL's Mariner Society and ask if they'll give us credit.
