Transportation in Grand Cayman

We haven't booked any excursions at the Grand Cayman port. Last time, just went to Seven Mile Beach. I think we ended up walking far until we decided to hop in a "cab".

 

What is the best mode of transportation to the Sea Grape or other parts of 7 Mile Beach? Prices? I just don't want to get ripped off and want to get to the beach! Any other ideas for things to do without booking an excursion at Grand Cayman?

Taxi from pier. About $6 per person each way.

We take a cab at the pier to 7MB. Lots to pick from.
