New Ocean Terminal in Southampton for Cunard

No it will not close down. The Ocean Terminal has been built with Carnival money from their 20 year deal to cope with increasing demand. In August there are 5 ships scheduled in one day and regularly for the past couple of years there have been 4. The VTS schedule is only a rough guide and often full of mistakes. They had QM2 sailing at 5pm on the 22nd October last year when anyone living around here could tell you all ships owned by Carnival sailing for refit go at noon. Your tickets will tell you which terminal you're going from while the movements are the most accurate source of information a day or two before you sail in case of any changes. It will also say whether your ship will be docked port or starboard.
