quiet places on Carnival

I am looking for quiet places, no music, no bands, etc where you can relax and read, sit and do a puzzle etc besides going to the library. I have only been on one Carnival ship, the Destiny. Going next on the Dream. Are there any areas with a view besides the gym? Also a place with no piped in music. Does it exist?:confused:

Besides the library? Thats a toughy.....

 

Maybe the one of the conference rooms if they aren't being used. Also, the main reastaurants have annex rooms that I believe are used by groups or as overflow. I don't know that they make the tables up when not in use, so you might be able to get in there. I would ask a crewman before going in though.

 

If all else fails, the nightclubs and show lounges (both the main and aft) are sometimes empty during the day and have small tables.

We've always had the Cigar Bar to ourselves during the day. Never been there at night, though.

I find it very quiet on the Panorama deck. Just grab a deck chair and you are Golden.

What about the Promenade deck? It's usually quiet there. There are always people sitting on their deck chairs just watching the water or reading.

The disco in the daytime is very quiet, and scenic. I have seen several people reading there.
