Wow.

 

NCL got us all excited about intimations of changes and upgrades to the Latitudes program. Changes for the better!!!

 

Now they unveil changes to Latitudes 2.0.

 

What a load of crap.

 

Once again, NCL takes a dump on their most loyal customers. Does anyone at NCL have a clue?

 

Their idea of upgrades do not seem to meet mine.

 

No modifications ackowledging length of cruise or spend. (ie suite). Instead, they offer reductions in benefits in general.

 

NCL's screwed up logic ==> Hey let's whack our best customers for taking a short cruise of less than 5 days! Let's deny them any Latitudes benefits whatsoever. That will make them want to rebook with us for a longer cruiise real soon!!!!!

 

And while were at it, let's throw em a bone and let the poor saps that have managed to reach Platinum level the ability to get free laundry on those cruises where we decide to offer "laundry by the bag specials"!!

 

This of course will not include cruises of less than 5 days because we all know those mean nothing to us at NCL because you have not spent enough to be worthy, and most cruisers pack enough for a 7 day cruise to make it a week without laundry services. (WIN, WIN, WIN!!)

 

Sigh. the short sightedness that has overwhelmed NCL continues.
