Experiences with A-Z Planners?

We're cruising in a couple weeks, and have made a reservation with A-Z Planners for the Ocho Rios Highlights Tour (on March 18th). Is anyone else with us? This is our first time cruising and we are a bit nervous and wondering what to expect with a private tour guide. None of the ships' tours covered what we wanted to see. Can anyone give me their experiences with A-Z, our driver is Melovan.

We just came back from Mo-bay and used A-Z for a private tour. It was great. Our tour guide was excellent. He took us wherever we wanted to go which was just a few places. He also took us for a drive around the city and told us stories about differant places. He took very good care of us and we felt very safe with him. I highly recommend them.

Newcruiser, I have used Belinda's tour company many times for tours from Ocho Rios, Mo Bay and Negril. Her vehichles are immaculate, AC cool, drivers well informed and schedules flexible- the price is usally right. If you wish to skip a stop, that's OK. If you wish to add a stop, they certainly will try to accommodate, if time and traffic allows.

 

I am presently negotiating Private group tours with A-Z for next February. Just make sure you request to be back at the port an hour before the ship sets sail. That way you allow for traffic around the port.
