Wine tasting - can the fee you pay become a credit for wine?

It used to be that there was a charge for the wine tasting, but the $10 fee (approx) could be used as a credit towards buying a bottle of wine to drink on the ship. You could order a wine that you liked at the tasting - or order from the wine list, and your bottle of wine was available in the restaurant anytime you want.

I haven't seen this done recently, and wondered if ANY cruise lines still do it? I miss it! Even the wine tastings themselves seemed to be better attended, and better staffed - lots of information for new wine drinkers without being boring for us wino's.
