Is the lava seen from the port or starboard side? We're sailing 15-day Hawaii April 6, 2009 and still haven't been assigned a Verandah suite. Just wondering which side we want our balcony to see the lava of Hawaii.

If you are sailing from Maui to the Big Island it will be on the port side. If you are sailing from Hilo to Kona it will be Starboard.
