room upgrade

It depends on the location of that upgrade. If you have a 2A, 2B category, and you want to upgrade to a CC (especially an Aft location), and if the additional fee fits your budget...then yes, upgrade. We all have specific choices as to what we find of value.

Once we get to the balcony level of cabin, it's not worth much more to us. Sure it would be nice to have a suite or an aft balcony, but not if having one would cost us a lot more.

I like the old saying about upgrading your ship instead of your cabin.

If it isn't to a suite, I don't think it would be worth it. Every other cabin is exactly the same size. There aren't a whole lot of perks with any other regular size balcony cabin. Now... a Sky Suite... that would be nice. I have sailed CC on the Century and unless it is VERY close to what you are paying... it isn't worth the difference. Enjoy!
