Hi, yes I use Halifax, I set up an account online, it took about 2 weeks to set up. I have bought 3 lots of 100 units of shares at various prices since Nov.

We bought through Redmayne Bentley, they have an office in our town, very nice guy called David Swift. He charged £22.50 for the commission and settlement fee on 105 shares. With the low price we paid, and it has gone a little lower since we bought, we have nearly got all our money back already as we cruise 4 or 5 times a year. We feel for the people who bought when the price was high but we are in for the longhaul and for as long as we cruise with RCI:)

I used www.iwebsharedealing.co.uk and got the password through in a couple of days. I was able to pay using my debit card. Bought 100 @ $5.60 and am £165 up today even after paying the £15 share deal cost.

With $450 OBC for our next three booked cruises, the shares are now costing us nothing:D:D (but I do feel for those who bought @ $40 and hope none of them are reading this:o)

Unless the cruise was booked before 1/1/09 in which case they are combinable
