Almost 5 yrs is a long time and she shld be due again..

Well,:) that major upgrade was about 55 million greenbacks so I doubt

it would be anything like that again but as for normal wear and tear?

They can do maintenance while she is taking folks on cruises. I will

be sailing her in May (happy it is now March:D) but will be glad to

ask if she is going into a shorter drydock anytime soon. Looking at

her schedule there are no openings listed at this point...but in 2 weeks

next years itineraries will start to be released....so who knows.

WOW some budget....the upgrades must have been fabulous!!

Are u heading to Alaska in May on her - I am on the 22nd..and I so agree that it is wonderful that its March already :D

Really appreciate it if u wld ask about a shorter & much less expensive drydock anytime soon.

Whatever, from what I am reading about the Century & I so desperately need a cruise 'fix' that I am going even if they recruit me to help with some painting...:D

Keep safe..& cruisin'! :)

Hi, I will be disembarking as you board the ship. I will be sailing

right before you. She will be in California and has an 8 repositioning

cruise that starts in San Diego and ends in Vancouver. So, whatever

information I get? You will be on the ship before you read about

on here;)...oh well....personally, I am not concerned but that is just

me. I always end up having a wonderful time!

Oh that upgrade she had? When Century was built in 1995 the only

balconies on the ship were for suites. They added over 300 of them

in 2006....so that was a major part of it, along with adding Murano's

and the Aqua Spa Cafe.

I am so sorry we aren't sailing together, I wld have enjoyed meeting u

Have done several repositioning cruises both north & south bound out of San Diego & Vancouver and have had marvelous times although the seas can be a trifle rough and may be this yr what with the 'not so nice' spring forcasted for the west coast.. :(

Do hope u have a great trip - I agree it really is just mainly about taking the right attitude with u along with your clothes+...

Keep safe & cruisin'! :)
