Any Wildlife Viewing for a Wheelchair bound passenger in round trip Vancouver ports?

We need to know if there is anywhere to do wildlife viewing for someone who is bound to a wheelchair? The cruise is round trip Vancouver stopping at Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan and Hubbard glacier. Doesn't seem to be anything listed under the shore excursions for the ship.

A small boat excursion won't work either.

Thanks for your suggestions.

We're booked with Orca Whalewatching in Juneau, where we can wheel the chair directly onto the boat. Juneau also has an eagle on exhibit at the top of the Roberts Tram.

Salmon and eagles are visible in Ketchikan.

Sitka has the Raptor Center, plus downtown: http://wildlife.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=trails.site&site_id=60&locale_id=4

There is whale watching that is w/c accessable. HOWEVER, you need to be able to manage the VERY steep ramps that you can run into at low tide. In Sitka, there are varied wildlife boat tours to also consider, a ship tour, loads right from the ship.

It also depends, "how" dependent this w/c person is??? Are they able to take a few steps, walk short distances?? Would make a difference on recommendations. I suggest, you may want to consider an independent whale watch vendor out of Juneau and contact them directly with those questions. Out of Sitka, with it being a tender port, using the ship excursion, may be the best option??? Of which I would suggest you head right to the ship shore excursion desk and inquire.
