michigyrl Posted March 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2009 For those of you considering booking a 1A on Valor, we had room 7345 which was suppose to be a upper/lower. It ended up having 2 twin beds on the floor. It looked as though they could easily have been converted into a queen. The only fault we found with this room is that it didn't have the comfort bedding as I though all Carnival ships/beds had. It just had regular mattresses. Great room though for the price! And in a great location--within a few flights of stairs from most of the activities.
caribbeanboy Posted March 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2009 My last cruise on the Liberty I was in a Cat-4G Cabin 1003 (with window) and did notice that there was no comfort bedding either.

Seeing more and more posts saying they had a hard mattress. Carnival seems to be replacing the good mattresses with hard mattresses to save money. thanks for the pic. Thinking about the Valor for next year and hoping the Glory has the twins and not uppers this year.
