Late Arrival into Venice

We will be arriving into VCE @ 21:05 and have a watertaxi to our hotel, Hotel Continental on the Lista Spagna, which we hope to arrive at around 22:00. Will there be any where, close to our hotel, open for food that late? I am only looking for a small meal as it will be quite late but I would like something. Our hotel restaurant will be closed. Has anyone any ideas??

I would bet your hotel could direct you to anything still open when you check in. The problem is if your plane is at all late, it may be even later by the time you get checked in and are ready to go find a light something to eat. There are some bars open later with ciccheti or even light meals that may still be open. It might be worth emailing the hotel now and see if they have any early suggestions. Maybe they can even arrange for something from the restaurant to be kept for you and delivered once you check in. It can't hurt to ask anyway.
