  1. Thanks. So you get your own and not available as bottles from the bars? Guess we'll bring our refillable cooler bottles from home then to take on the trips and in the gym.
  2. I drink a lot of water, particularly if it is warm or I have been exercising. Can you get bottled water from the bars on board and is this included in the Premium AI package? I am not fussy about branded water like Evian, Perrier or such, just plain bottled water. We also usually grab a few bottles of water to take back to the cabin and use these to take with us on excursions.
  3. Following as we will be on Island Princess in July next year for 21 days, New York - Canada - Greenland - Iceland - UK. Was looking forward to the included Casual Dining with the plus package, but now feeling a little disappointed and cheated if it is only lunch times and limited to pizza.
  4. Following as we will be embarking Millie on 17 Nov 2023. Loving your photos and commentary as we also have a great love and respect for the country and people of Japan.
  5. No flash sale on my upcoming cruises (Aug and Nov). Best discount is 20%.
  6. Great review and I am so glad that Reflection is still in good shape. We will be on in about 3.5 weeks (not counting at all 🤣) and so ready for the break. A shame that Cranston will not be on board as we loved to pass the time with him in Ensemble Lounge last year. Thank you so much for taking the time to post during your cruise, really appreciate all the 'Live' and 'Semi Live' reviews.
  7. Rob Roy - similar to Manhattan but with Scotch Whiskey, preferably Glenfiddich.
  8. Hi Zitsky Take a look at the menu posted earlier in the thread - mains are Family style, but they may be able to accommodate. Butter chicken is quite a mild dish so that would probably be OK. The Chicken Biryani and Aloo Gobi are also mild dishes with usually not too much spice.
  9. We did the Taj X dinner one cruise, I thought it was amazing! We have travelled to India a few times and often have curry/indian cuisine at home. I thought this was really authentic tasting, the lamb was so tender and the butter chicken was so good. I complemented the chef on the whole meal.
  10. Following as we will be on Reflection on 24 Aug 2023. Silhouette and Reflection are our favourites of the 'S' class ships.
  11. Agh! OK so we are UK and no longer EU citizens. So explains why we would have to go through customs at Barca and Civitavecchia.
  12. Don't you have to claim luggage and then pass through customs? I wouldn't have thought X could do this for you.
  13. Were those fish for display or were they prepped and then cooked to order?
  14. We did exactly that on one of our 'Round UK' cruises in 2021. Stayed on board and had a really relaxing time. It was all about Rest, Relaxation and not being at home after COVID lockdowns! 🙂 Enjoy.
  15. Thanks Bo, but we have had issues in the past with requesting 'no sauce' or 'no pepper' on entrees. I am sure we will find something that works for us, food is not the main reason for cruising. We are more about the itinerary and overall ambiance of the ship. 😃
  16. A bit concerned that the ship is vibrating that badly, we are on the same floor in Aug. Starters all look to be salad based and not to our tastes. Entrees the same issue with sweet sauces. Looks like we may end up ordering from Main Dining menu each night.
  17. Look out for my friends Sue and Sue. They will probably be around the Sunset and Martini bars.
  18. Following as we will be on Reflection BCN - BCN on Aug 24. Also first time Aqua class and looking forward to your opinion on Blu.
  19. I can confirm this is true. Tried to do this on our upcoming SE Asia cruise, but no dice. Have successfully had the upgrade from C3 - C2 numerous times.
  20. Celebrity Millennium uses the cruise port in Yokohama. Search on Tripadvisor or Expedia to find nearby hotels.
  21. Hi villauk I eventually booked with Aceventura Tours and had good communication with them. They were on time and took us to the waterfalls, Rum tasting and all around the places of interest. There was an opportunity for a beach but we declined. Only issue was we and another couple planned to pay by credit card and the driver 'didn't have the machine', so we had to pay in East Caribbean Dollars, by withdrawing money from the bank near the port. If you do this check the exchange rates before you pay as sometimes the rates quoted are slightly higher, or plan ahead and take some ECD with you. Good tour though, we enjoyed.
  22. Another vote for Cranston. He was great on our last Reflection cruise was the server in Ensemble Lounge.
  23. Not at all. On chic nights in the Med there are a lot that take Tux's or lounge suits. As we are flying from UK and staying in FL after our Caribbean cruise, hubby will not take either Tux or Lounge suit this year. Smart trousers and shirt, maybe a tie.
  24. We are also on the Equinox Dec 22 Holiday cruise. Looking forward to meeting you at the Sunset Bar for Sailaway! 🎄
