Putting such undue emphasis on a person's age is not very becoming me dearyOh! The futtock nurdler's curse is e'en now winging its way with a Hey nonny and a fiddle-me ree.

Gari

He sounds more like Blind Melon Chitlins Jimmy, a little bottle necken of some gumbo blues on a Dobro.

I don't know what a futtock nurdler's curse might be, but it sounds painful!!

Senior management's cases being the poor woman's necessities?

Come, come James, indulge the lady once in a while. You know it will be worth it as all heads turn as you make your Grand Entrance to dinner, we're talking Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers here.

We will expect pictures please AND NOT OF DOZENS OF BLOODY RUSTY OLD BOATS.

Now have a wee dram or two and settle down it's nearly boaty time.

Well of course, you can expect anything you like. But the reality may differ in a few minor details. :)

Ah, the glory days of TA crossings prior to WWII. Of course, those glamourous pix never showed people holding onto ropes as they entered the Dining Room during rough seas.

That's why I prefer North Mallorca to the Costa del Chav!! ;)

Mallorca per sempre en el meu cor!

Didn't a British man get killed in a drunken brawl this week in Alcudia...people in glass houses etc. Don'r know if he was a chav though:confused: although I don't know why you should speak in a derogotary manner about chavs, I would have thought they were the bread and butter of your sort of business...along with the alternative therapies and fake handbags:D

I thought he was in the A & S - not the TA!

I once had a police tutor who had been in the A & S - all the young women used to swoon over him- he was lovely.

Long, long before your time though.

Actually I was both (A and SH, and TA).

Do reveal the identity of the police guy - I may have heard of him.

Gari, when you work in the service of the public you can never get to work too early or leave too late. Every minute that I spend devoting my life to the benefit of our great country brings total joy to my heart.

The way one accepts congratulations for a national title with a 39-0 record reflects one's character . . . you, sir, are a jerk. (Besides, I wasn't responding to you - go away, dweeb)

I need to print this out and hang it out side my cubicle, either that or mulch it into the garden, as it ought to do wonders for the banana trees!:D
