Wellseasoned Posted March 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Can anyone tell me whether there is sufficient time to make an 8:00 A.M. flight out of Barbados when my 600 passenger ship is scheduled to arrive in Bridgetown at 5:00 A.M. ? Thanks much.
Aplmac Posted March 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Can anyone tell me whether there is sufficient time to make an 8:00 A.M. flight out of Barbados when my 600 passenger ship is scheduled to arrive in Bridgetown at 5:00 A.M. ? Cutting it a bit close..but at that hour of the morning you'll be travelling in the other direction to the traffic INbound to the city which should make for a half-hour car trip to the airport. Your outbound flight at 0800 hrs. will "require pax to be at the airport for 0600" but you know how it goes with the blessed airline industry --Hurry Up and Wait! A lot depends of whether your ship docks at 0500 hrs. or whether the reality is that you guys aren't allowed off an hour later at 0600 hrs. Confer with the ship's staff and let them know you have an early flight. Sounds like you should chill out for 24 hrs. at a nice beach hotel somewhere and catch that same flight a day later? Wellseasoned Posted March 24, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Thanks, aplmac. That's about the way I saw it, but I was trying to be hopeful. Oh, well...
