gacruiser Posted March 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2009 We have reservaton at the Grand Hyatt for our NCl Pearl cruise 30 AUg and was wondering how far the hotel is from pier 66 and what is the best way to get there? Taxi or do you know if the Hyatt provided shuttles? Is it in walking distance?

gacruiser Posted March 24, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Do you have any idea what the taxi cost is?
pengle Posted March 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2009 The Grand Hyatt is at 7th and Pine. It would be a 1.2 mile cab ride to Pier 66 via Pine, 4th Ave, Wall, and Alaskan Way. $9. I don't see that they offer shuttle service. Everything under Transportation at their website references private carriers.
McDebbie Posted March 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2009 GaCruiser, looks like you are on our cruise, don't forget to join our roll call. What kind of rate did you get for the Hyatt? We are still looking for hotels, I loved the Marriott but the price was pretty steep for two nights.
gacruiser Posted March 27, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted March 27, 2009 We got a govt rate of !58. I also booked the Alexis Hotel for the same govt rate but it had breakfast and wine reception included, so I am most likely canceling the Hyatt. It would be my first choice. It is also a smaller, more "boutique" style hotel. Enjoy our city!

My husband actually made me walk uphill from the ship to our hotel, but I wouldn't recommend that. LOL. The hills are steep in Seattle. Nobody ever told me that.:D
