Recommended Posts

THE HUBBY AND I ARE BOOKED ON ALASKA CRUISET0UR THIS JULY - WE ARE IN A BALCONY STATEROOM PORTSIDE ROOM 200 ON LIDO DECK - CAN ANYONE TELL US HOW THIS ROOM IS? WE ARE PUZZLED AS TO WHAT IS DIRECTLY IN THE FRONT OF THE SHIP? IT LOOKS LIKE SOME SORT OF OBSERVATION DECK BUT WE CAN'T BE SURE.. IT'S DRIVING US CRAZY. PLEASE HELP.:):)

Have not stayed in the room so cannot speak to that, sorry. Being at the end of the hall you should get very little foot traffic until or unless the other passengers discover the deck (most won't). Other cabins are under you, massage tables over you, so should be quiet. You will probably have a really great view of the bridge activity from your balcony, too. For some that is a plus, for others a minus.
