aft cabins 9690 and 9390 ?? please

These balconies appear to have more "open" views than aft cabins toward the middle of the aft. They also appear to be a bit deeper, thus larger. Is my perception correct? If anyone has stayed in these cabins, please comment on how you liked the balconies. Also, do these have the full glass sliding doors? I know that at least on deck 8 the corner aft cabins do NOT have a full glass door, and I don't want that. Too dark in the cabin I would think.

We had both 9690 and 9692 aboard the Mariner in December of last year. Cabin 9690 has only a door and thus the room is a bit darker. The balcony itself is also smaller than the cabin next door... it could only accommodate one lounger and two chairs (it gets crowded after that). It does not have the true wrap around effect like the corner Rhapsody... the view is similar to what you can see from 9692. We found 9692 the better of the two because of the additional sunlight coming into the room and the larger balcony.
