Rare geoherb Posted April 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Trivia is one of our favorite activities. I think Princess does it best. On our Century cruise, some of the teams knew the answers because the ship's staff was repeating questions from the previous cruise. We found the same thing on our HAL cruise--where the quizzes were being sent to the staff from HAL's office. It doesn't take too many times hearing which of Henry VIII's wives' ghosts haunt Hampton Court before you memorize them all.
Longboysfan Posted April 3, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Battle of the sexes trivia is not much of a battle. Stilted questions for the women to answer.... What team plays in the stadium called the House that Ruth Built. Mens question.... When preparing caramel glazed chicken...what spices are used and how long do you cook the chicken.... But the men usually win...... Well at least most of the time I am there - as mens team captain.... There are individual trivias, team, men vs women. CRUZBUDS Posted April 3, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 3, 2009 We're just off the Mercury - There were two trivia games every morning and one or two in the afternoon. Sometimes one of the afternoon games would be Tribond or Catch Phrase. The did name that tune a few times also. One morning one of the games was Pictionary. They even had the games on port days. Very well done. We won a bunch of pens and luggage tags!
