Changing Area

We are sailing on Mariner of the Seas with our 1-year old, and were trying to figure out what we were going to use for a changing area. All we can think of is the bed...but we know that will be very low (and we will have sore backs by the end of the first day!) Does anyone have a better idea? What did you use?

I think you'll be pretty much stuck with the bed, couch or floor as only options. Rather than bending over all the time, it would be more comfortable to get down on your childs level (i.e sitting on the bed, couch or floor).

At least, a one year old won't need to be "changed" as frequently as a baby!!! You could always use the vanity!

Wow, can't say that's a worry I would've ever had... I always kept a blanket on the bed and changed our children on it... or on a blanket on the floor. Never a problem. And I had two in diapers at once.

 

We didn't cruise back then, so this was at home, and back in the days before changing tables were all the rage. We never had one, and managed just fine. :)

I'm not "worried"...just wanted to see if anyone thought of something ingenious that I hadn't thought of yet :-)

We just use the bed or stroller if we are in port and there is no changing station.
