Casual Dress?

Can i just ask if jeans are allowed on a casual evening for males and females? Do other people wear jeans?

 

First time on Royal Caribbean cruise and don't want to get the dress code wrong.

They are dressy up jeans, not in the least bit scruffy.

You can wear jeans, but on Caribbean routes, few do. They're simply not "tropical"! Most will wear capris (females) or lightweight slacks.

Yes! Paired with a cute top and heels, nice jeans even look much better than the polyester pantsuits with white tennis shoes that many will be wearing!

In the Caribbean, jeans are going to be very hot. That is another reason most do not wear them.

I always wear my jeans on the plane on the way down--but I'm coming from the midwest and my jeans cost a fortune and I don't risk packing them! :eek: I always end up wearing them at least one night with a cute top and heeled sandals, and I don't feel out of place. I find the dining room kind of chilly, so I always bring a cardigan too, so you should be fine. Don't worry too much about you wear. Just be comfortable and have a great time!!
