Dress for Dinner???

Hi,:) this is a bit OT..but to the original poster..check your itinerary

as I believe none of the cruiselines are going to the Mexican

Riveria at this time.

I doubt that will change the dress code;)so dress up all you

want:D

I dress up every night for dinner and my DH always returns the compliment. He says that I spend time on my hair, make-up and clothes so why shouldn't he (but not the make-up and he's thinning on top :D).

 

We especially love the formal nights. John always takes full highland dress and I always take a full lenghth gown. There must be so many pictures of him all over the world in his kilt and if I had a pound for everytime he was asked what he wore under his kilt I'd be doing round the world cruises ;)

 

Wear whatever you like and enjoy and don't worry about anyone else.

He does have a line when asked but it's kinda rude. :D

 

John's very sociable and doesn't mind that people ask to have their photograph taken with him. It's no problem. However, on the last cruise their were women just grabbing him for photos and not even asking - I was getting pushed out of the way. I was like "don't mind me, I'm only the wife". :rolleyes::D

Why would anyone change after dinner......unless they were going to an activity where it was inappropriate? (such as an evening swim, or an exercise activity)

You dress for the evening, not the dining room.

 

A lot of times I prefer to change after dinner to more casual attire. I really don't see what difference it makes if people want to dress more casually outside the dining room. Personally, I'll dress for the dining room, but not necessarily for the rest of the evening.
