cookingmom Posted April 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2009 I'm looking for recommendations for a casual dinner the night before our cruise in June. Since we'll be 6 people (and one is the 85 year old grandmother!), I'm hoping that we won't have to take any transportation and that the restaurant is a short, easy walk! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
NWWanderer Posted April 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2009 If your group likes Italian, I'd suggest the downstairs informal part of Il Fornaio at the corner of Sixth and Olive in Pacific Place, so just 2 blocks or so from the Westin. Good pastas, pizzas and risotto.
Suzanne123 Posted April 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2009 http://www.icongrill.net/food_wine.htm was suggested to me when I had the same question.
SeattleCruiselover Posted April 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Icon Grill is directly across the street from the Westin, and their menu is heavy on NW comfort food....yummy!
Suzanne123 Posted April 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Mixed Berry Walnut Griddlecakes - Buttermilk pancake batter topped with mixed berry compote and toasted walnuts. Served with applewood smoked bacon. :)
