Navigator OF The Seas - Kids Pool & Slide??

Hi, could anyone please confirm if The Navigatot of the Seas has the kids pool and water slide (Water park)? I know some of the Voyager class ships have these but cannot find anything definately confirming the Navigator. Regards James

Navigator does not have the kids pool and slide. It has extended teen facilities instead. Mariner is the same way.

 

The Voyager class ships with the kids pools and slides are Voyager, Explorer, and Adventure.

Bummer. We just booked and the kids are disappointed. It's our first cruise and now the kids want to know why we didn't sail on Carnival. Our response was, "Remember when cousin Daniel was on that ship that broke down in the middle of the Gulf and we saw him on TV spelling out HELP? That was Carnival." That shut them up.

We booked NAV for feb 2014 and didn't know until after that it didn't have a slide. The kids (age 4 an 8) were disappointed at first - but ended up not missing it AT ALL. They loved the flowrider and kids club and sports deck etc. the pools are salt water - they didn't love that :)

 

The main pool also has an area on the side that is a shallow wading area that my daughter occasionally would sit/ play/ lay in vs swimming...we brought her swim bubble so she could swim with a little more freedom/distance between her and me, but it ended up not really crowded so she probably would have been fine without it (we have a pool - she is a good swimmer)..

 

The ice rink and mini golf were also fun - but the kids club on NAV really won their hearts over!

Even on ships that DO have a "slide"...it's a kiddie slide...nothing that will interest anyone over 6 years old!

My 9 and 11 year Olds love Navigator! The ice skating, flow rider, rock wall and sports court keep them plenty busy.
