"Adventure" Excursions

Recommended Posts

Two or our party of six want to do somethin more adventuresome than what the rest of us want to do...whale watching, train trip up White Pass, and just walking around in the ports. We'll be cruising with Carnival in June southbound. Here are some possibilities they might like to try. I've seen lots about ziplining, and a little about other excursions while in port. Has anyone done these or have any info (good or bad) about any of these?

We are doing the Canoeing in Juneau (vs. the kayaking) based on recommendation from local guide I know and a friend who did it. Much better glacier views etc. AND with 12 people paddling it's a "little" easier... plus you can get some great pics.
