4275princess Posted April 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2009 Princess advised me early/late dining is available. There are also Sabitini's and Sterling Steakhouse opened on alternating days. The rep indicated the Buffet closes @ 6p and after that time only serves pizza and sandwiches. Is this correct? Thanks
paul929207 Posted April 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2009 No, the buffet is open each evening for dinner. We were on the Pacific Princess last month.
seacruiser64 Posted April 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2009 We just got off a back to back on the Pacific Princess. The buffet was open every night and served the same food as the main, "Club" Dining Room! The steakhouse was nice (although we were turned off by the USA or red/white/blue plates). Sabatinis was nice, and serve so much food!
Pia1913 Posted April 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2009 The buffet is open every night and does NOT serve all of the same food as in the main diningroom. Some menu items are the same. Not all of them.
coo359a2 Posted April 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2009 We just got off the Pacific Princess and thought that the buffet had a lot of good choices for their evening meals - especially the fried chicken breast. Did ask to have fried chicken one night in the main dining room but liked the chicken on the buffet the best.

Sabatinis was nice, and serve so much food! We ate several times at the buffet and they did not have the same food as in the Dining Room. I thought that other than the seafood cocktail, the dinner buffet was similar to the lunch buffet.

Isn't it interesting how they could make the chicken so moist and juicy in the buffet at lunch and dry it out when they served it at dinner? :(

Pia1913 Posted April 26, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Pia, maybe they are attempting to save $$$$ and you ended up with what was left from the afternoon buffet that evening? ;) You do have a point, but then again, dinner chicken was served hot. Different chefs for afternoon and evening is most likely the result.
