Wi-Fi on Freedom of the Seas HELP!!!

Can anyone tell me how much it costs to have the in room wi-fi for the week? We have always used the ships computers to comunicate back home, but are wanting to price compare between the wi-fi and the ships computers. Thanks for all your help:):):)

It costs the same--you're paying for internet TIME..not the way you access it! By the min. will run about $.55--less if you buy a "package" of mins.

If the WIFI on Freedom is anything like it is on Liberty we found it to be AGONIZINGLY slooooooow!

How does the speed compare to the ship's computers that you can use? I know those are brutally slow too, but if my laptop is "just as slow/just as fast" as the ship's computers, I might bring mine. We'd only use it for the odd email anyway to keep in touch with our relatives out of country.

The joy about Freedom Class is that you can access the internet from your own laptop from your room. I didn't notice any discernible conncectivity difference between accessing from the cabin or from their computers.
