What kind of foods can you get off the room service menu. Anything hot at breakfast other than the coffee, and how about appetizers.

Unless you are in a suite there are no hot items on the RS menu.

They will provide oatmeal. :D

You can give it a shot, but no guarantees. Some have been lucky and received a few small hot items written in, others have been refused. It's worth a try, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't show up. :(

I have been able to write in toasted bagel and cream cheese and so far they have brought it.

We wrote in eggs benedict and omelettes and bagels in feb. on the mexican cruise and they even gave us extras like bacon etc. We put a little smiley face and thanks on the card. It was great.

You might be able to order some brown sugar, but anything above that, I would not count on it.

We just returned from a back to back on Pacific Princess, we were in a Suite and were able to order the same food as was being served in the Club Dining Room!

 

Our boys stayed in a Mini-Suite and the room service menu was Continental Breakfast and omletts. Lunch / Dinner was cold cut sandwiches and chips (no fries) and dessert was a cookie or flan. They were not able to order anything else.

 

As far as "appetizers", you can order a complimentary fruit bowl.

Ham and Cheese sandwich and Caesar Salad were both excellent!!!! We ended up ordering them almost every afternoon and ate them on the balcony when the pool got too crowded.
