tigerdadky Posted April 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2009 What kind of foods can you get off the room service menu. Anything hot at breakfast other than the coffee, and how about appetizers.

Colo Cruiser Posted April 22, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Unless you are in a suite there are no hot items on the RS menu. They will provide oatmeal. :D
californiagirl Posted April 22, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Can you still write in items for breakfast that are not listed on the menu? It's been a while since we cruised.

Toto2Kansas Posted April 22, 2009 #8 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Can you still write in items for breakfast that are not listed on the menu? It's been a while since we cruised. You can give it a shot, but no guarantees. Some have been lucky and received a few small hot items written in, others have been refused. It's worth a try, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't show up. :(
californiagirl Posted April 22, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Thanks for the quick replies. Guess I will go to Horizon Court and bring a plate back to the balcony.

Janie1111 Posted April 22, 2009 #11 Share Posted April 22, 2009 We wrote in eggs benedict and omelettes and bagels in feb. on the mexican cruise and they even gave us extras like bacon etc. We put a little smiley face and thanks on the card. It was great.

Toto2Kansas Posted April 24, 2009 #13 Share Posted April 24, 2009 Can you get flavored oatmeal? Only if you bring your own instant and order hot water. Sorry! You might be able to order some brown sugar, but anything above that, I would not count on it.
seacruiser64 Posted April 25, 2009 #14 Share Posted April 25, 2009 We just returned from a back to back on Pacific Princess, we were in a Suite and were able to order the same food as was being served in the Club Dining Room! Our boys stayed in a Mini-Suite and the room service menu was Continental Breakfast and omletts. Lunch / Dinner was cold cut sandwiches and chips (no fries) and dessert was a cookie or flan. They were not able to order anything else. As far as "appetizers", you can order a complimentary fruit bowl.
Guest arowe6 Posted April 25, 2009 #15 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Ham and Cheese sandwich and Caesar Salad were both excellent!!!! We ended up ordering them almost every afternoon and ate them on the balcony when the pool got too crowded. -Andrew:)
