Vancouver - Ports

I am wondering what the name of the port is that the Mercury sails out of in Vancouver.

 

I am trying to figure out what area we should look at for a hotel the night before we sail.

The Murcury will be using the Ballantyne Pier this season which is in an industrial area and devoid of hotels. I would recommend that you look at hotels in the dowtown area. We have been reading of some great rates being had on Priceline.com. These rates have been in the $100 to $150 range for 4* hotels. In ordinary circumtstances rates in Vancouver during cruise season start at $150 and go up from there.

There is no transit or shuttle to Ballantyne Pier so you will need to take a cab. From almost any hotel in the downtown area you fare should be <$15.
