Question about Dawn's Breakfast Buffet

I'm wondering if anyone knows if they serve oatmeal or other types of hot cereal at the breakfast buffet on the Dawn. If they do, do you know what kind (ie cream of wheat etc)? I'll be traveling next month with a baby and if they offer hot cereal, I'd like to try it with her at home first. Thanks so much!

Its been a while since we've been on the Dawn, but all of the ships we've been on had Oatmeal. It can vary from very, very thick and sticky to runny, though. I've also seen grits and Cream of Wheat, too, at times.

We were on the Dawn - Mar 21-28) and yes, they have oatmeal - my husband had some and said it was really good. The buffet is very varied - something for everyone.

We were on the Dawn 4/11-4/18 and they had oatmeal and grits.

I agree. Oatmeal and grits seem pretty standard. Occasionally, they might switch the Grits for Cream of Wheat.

and if need be...can always bring quaker instant oatmeal? gotta love dry, packaged items. (though i wouldn't LIVE on it).

I was on the Dawn in February and yes, they have oatmeal at the breakfast buffet. They also have a separate buffet and seating area for kids.

Yes, they have oatmeal and it was good, my son and I had it a few times. The kids sized buffet is cute, but I made up the kids plates from the whole buffet and they loved eating at the kid sized tables and chairs. I have a bunch of pictures posted on my Dawn page.
