Does anyone know how the early check in for carnival splendor works?-- I think it is on the Queen Mary -- do you have to registered at the hotel? What time does the early check in start? THANK YOU!!

There has been a couple of threads about this lately, apparently the early check-in is not actually on the Queen Mary anymore, it's now outside between the dome and the parking garage and is open from 9-11 a.m. And just fyi, in the past, it had nothing to do with the hotel, Carnival was just using a room in the aft end of the QM.

we sailed from Long Beach on 4/26...there is no early check-in at the Queen Mary....there is a 'pre-check-in' area to the left of the main entrance...we got in line, were handed a zone boarding card as we were showing our Fun Pass and credit cards
