PT Cruisin Posted May 24, 2009 #276 Share Posted May 24, 2009 How about one more itty bitty choice? Awesome Alaskan Adventurers I know the ship name isn't there but I feel this fits! Now I really will go into hiding... sorry to edit again but Awesome Amsterdam Adventurers is good for me too.
Tinknock50 Posted May 24, 2009 #277 Share Posted May 24, 2009 How about one more itty bitty choice? Awesome Alaskan Adventurers I know the ship name isn't there but I feel this fits! Now I really will go into hiding... Troublemaker!..... LOL :D Actually,I like both "Awesome Amsterdam Adventurers" and "Awesome Alaskan Adventurers". I do prefer ship names in there, but I have a coat from another cruise on the Amsterdam to Alaska and someone said they didn't know there was an Amsterdam, Alaska. :) People seem to think of the city immediately. So maybe "Alaskan" would be better.

LEtue Posted May 24, 2009 Author #282 Share Posted May 24, 2009 Even though that wasn't my 1st choice of the photos you took, this one really does a good job of highlighting the text on the dark blue water. The text in the other picture can be changed. When I tried white it disappeared but there are lots of others to try.....
PT Cruisin Posted May 24, 2009 #283 Share Posted May 24, 2009 That would work too! Should m.s. be in caps though? I guess I could go to the HAL website and look.... pspercy Posted May 25, 2009 #299 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Banner pic looks great:) Now comes the inevitable question, is a verandah cabin worth paying nearly double that for a regular outside window/porthole view:confused:
Tinknock50 Posted May 25, 2009 #300 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Banner pic looks great:) Now comes the inevitable question, is a verandah cabin worth paying nearly double that for a regular outside window/porthole view:confused: I really don't think it is worth it. Not for double the price. It will be hard enough for me to pay for an outside. This ship has a fantastic wraparound promenade to enjoy the sights from. So I recommend one on that deck. Another good choice is the larger cabins one deck down by the stairs so if you see a whale through your window , you can get up fast enough to the promenade to see more! (This actually happenned to me on the similar Volendam!....and I got a picture of him)
