Monarch 9562 & 9564 Views Blocked?

I was told that the SO rooms on the 9th floor have obstructed views. Is this the case and if so, how obtructed? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

They are 'obstructed' only by the lifeboats below them. You can't see down to the water, but your side to side view is not obstructed.

who told you that? There are no "obstructions" on deck 9.

Category I cabins on Deck 8 have obstructed views because of the lifeboats. Deck 9 cabins have nothing directly in front of the window, but you will see the lifeboat covers when you look down. The last 2 cabins on either side do not overlook the lifeboats, so they have a great view.:)

Please note: Staterooms 9508 & 9512 have obstructed views. All other Staterooms on deck 9 have partially obstructed views.

It really is not a big obstruction.....you can look directly out but will have a life boat under you that will partially obstruct your downward view...not every room has a life boat effecting it...if you do a search some rooms have no or "less of" an obstruction than others.

Thank you...I can live with that view! We won't be in the cabin much, I just didn't want to feel clausterphobic!
